Proud to have worked on this project for brand design lab. The challenge for us was to unify a shopping mall atrium with eight adjacent retail units into a cohesive department store experience.
I was responsible for master-planning the 4,000 sqm of shopping space across a range of curated departments, cafe’s and bars.
We started the process of defining the creative direction for this exclusive lifestyle store targeting high net worth individuals. A simple minimal approach built around the products themselves, using rich warm materials.
Nature became a core part of the development process, the requirement to introduce feature staircases to connect the levels offered this opportunity for planting to humanise and soften the space.
