To transform shell petrol forecourts to become convenience retailers.
Project designer, design development, visualisation, brand guideline documentation Shell is a client that has been successfully working with the Conran Design Group for over fifteen years.
Working alongside the Creative Director my involvement was to join the team to create the interiors for a new Shell retail investment on a huge scale; to develop a design solution that would work for global roll-out.
Firstly we designed and developed the new look and feel for the interiors and communication of two UK prototype stores. The latest designs required a fully integrated food offer and an accessible retail space to promote increased basket sales.
Then we travelled extensively to work closely with the various implementation teams in Norway, Denmark, South Africa and Germany.
Once the designs had been finalised we produced all the visual, descriptive and technical information for the global brand guidelines documentation to allow all those involved to apply the designs across the World.
